Communication Specialist Junior - Paris

We are looking for a Communication Specialist to join our team in Paris. This role reports to the Marketing Director EMEA and plays a key role in shaping and amplifying Locala’s external voice.
Your Role
As Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for defining and executing Locala’s editorial strategy and external communication. You will create compelling content that strengthens our brand positioning, supports our business objectives and increases our visibility across media, digital platforms, social and industry channels. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales and Leadership teams to translate business stories into impactful narratives.
Main Responsibility
Editorial & Content Strategy
Define and manage Locala’s external editorial line and tone of voice.
Develop content calendars aligned with business priorities and key industry moments.
Write, edit and publish high-quality content: articles, blog posts, thought leadership pieces, white papers, newsletters and corporate stories.
Media & Public Relations
Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches and corporate announcements.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media and industry partners.
Coordinate PR opportunities: interviews, press briefings, contributed articles and speaking opportunities.
Monitor media coverage and analyze brand visibility.
Ensure consistency of messaging across all external channels (website, social media, newsletters, press, events).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect insights, success stories, product updates and market trends.
Cross-Functional Support
Partner with Marketing, Product and Sales teams to produce external-facing content: case studies, sector insights, client success stories and market trend pieces.
Support the communication around major company moments: product launches, partnerships, events and milestones.
Your Profile
You have:
A degree in Journalism, Communications, Media or related field.
1-2 years of experience in journalism, media, PR, content or communications (agency or in-house).
Outstanding writing and storytelling skills.
Experience in editorial content, press relations and/or media writing.
You are:
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Comfortable working in a fast-growing, international tech environment.
Curious, structured and highly detail-oriented.
Creative, proactive and able to turn complex topics into clear, engaging stories.
A strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Experience in AdTech, MarTech, Media environments is a strong plus.
